What would you do?

Life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges our way, doesn’t it?

Just when I thought everything was falling into place with my newly launched massage therapy business, I hit a major roadblock.

Picture this: I was going about my day, with the excitement of the holiday season building up.

Then, out of nowhere, I took a tumble down the stairs and ended up breaking my arm.

Right before Christmas!

For someone like me, who typically doesn’t dive into festive preparations until December, this was a curveball I hadn’t anticipated.

Have you ever felt like life threw you a curveball when you least expected it?

We all face these challenges at different points in our lives.

Initially, it feels like the world is turned upside down.

I had just released December’s appointments, nearly fully booked, and had classes lined up. Now, with a broken arm and no ability to drive, I found myself scrambling to rearrange everything.

But here’s the twist.

After getting my arm in a cast, recovering from a drug-induced slumber, and catching up on some much-needed rest and nourishment, my resilient spirit kicked in.

I decided I couldn’t let this setback defeat me. I restructured my schedule, offered alternative solutions to my massage clients, and tapped into my collection of online videos to illustrate techniques I can’t physically perform at the moment.

On the bright side, this unforeseen circumstance has forced me to take a step back.

Although I’ve lost the use of my left hand, my dominant right hand is still functional.

The support and care I’ve received have been overwhelming.

So, here’s a piece of wisdom I often live by and want to share with you: when life hands you lemons, don’t just make lemonade—craft a recipe you truly enjoy.

There’s always an option, and choosing to face challenges head-on can lead to unexpected opportunities for growth and positivity.

As I navigate this unexpected turn in my journey, I’m embracing the chance to recharge and appreciate the support around me.

For anyone else dealing with unexpected twists, remember: you have the power to choose how you respond.

Let’s face challenges with resilience and creativity because, in the end, there’s always an option.

Wishing you all the strength and courage to overcome your own curveballs.
