All Pilates classes are mixed ability and suitable for all levels as lots of options are given.

The four types of classes on offer are…….

  • Pure Core – a mat based workout focusing on strengthening the core, back and glutes with added flexibility to lengthen the muscles
  • Mobility & Flexibility – a combination of breathing technique with fluid movement, balance and flexibility to mobilise and loosen the body with a guided meditation to balance the mind
  • Strength – an all over body strengthening workout using resistance bands to challenge the body
  • Pilates Combo – the workout that combines all three elements – Pure Core, Mobility & Flexibility and Strength – for the complete all over mind and body workout

Our live and in-person classes were really popular in 2022, and they are continuing in 2023. Numbers are limited to ten people to keep everyone safe. It’s wonderful to be back in the studio.

This is for those of you who like to get out and do something fun to help with your physical and mental health as we march on through the dark winter months.

We all get to know each other, and we even have a WhatsApp group. Lots of people make new friends and we always get a little bit of Sam’s zany sense of humour in the mix; it’s a fun session.

There are four classes available each week.

Seasonal Saturdays

Seasonal Saturdays are a new FREE feature at Sam H Pilates for Studio Unlimited members.
We are celebrating each new season with a wonderful, inspirational session to welcome in new beginnings.
In December, we’re getting cosy with crystals and cakes, as well as a one-hour special Pilates class using our foam roller.
It starts at 9.30 with our exercise, then we ease into meditation and crystals and at 11 we stop for elevenses and a chat over a hot cuppa.
December’s session is happening on the 3rd .
In March we’re springing into Spring.
July we’re sizzling ready for the summer.
September sees us welcoming the Autumn season with an original flow and inspirational add-ons.
These Seasonal Saturdays are different every time and are designed to enrich your usual Pilates experience and introduce you to other forms of wellness, while all the time creating time-out and a safe space for you and the other members in the group.
Seasonal Saturdays are included for those of you who are members of Studio Unlimited.
It’s a gift from me to you.
Places tend to go very fast so make sure you sign up as soon as you see the offer promoted in the Studio Unlimited Group to avoid disappointment.
Seasonal Saturdays are a great way to come to a natural end of one season and gently ease into another.

Our Zoom community really came into its own during lockdown and we love it so much it’s here to stay.

We workout together, have a little chat and we’ve even had some social nights with quizzes. Dozens of you have joined me on the mat in your living rooms, bedrooms, spare rooms, even holiday cottages! We’ve all been increasing our fitness and you’re telling me that you’re getting better results than ever because you’re showing up more often, as you have more time without travel involved. It’s the way forward.

Pilates has a number of physical benefits to help with movement and balance, but there is also the tremendous help we get with our mental attitude. Some of you have told me it’s helped to keep you sane over the past two years, and given you time out from the stresses and strains we’ve all faced.

Having a routine is one of the best things you can do for your own mental health. Sessions are available morning, noon, and night.
