De-Chox Challenge – Day 6

Six days into my de-chox challenge and I’m feeling proud of myself.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve been tempted.

It’s the 4 o’clock cuppa that’s been the hardest hurdle.  So easy to reach for the choccie digestive not giving it a second thought.

I’ve switched to nut-based Nakd bars and have also discovered a very nice lemon drizzle one!  Cacao based protein bars have been replaced with high protein flapjacks and if I need a sweet fix, it’s sultanas and cashews.

A great light snack, packed with energy is large rice cakes with some form of nut butter (peanut, almond or cashew) and my homemade banana bread is great.  Consumption of strawberries, mango and pineapple have also gone up.

The key is to plan ahead, identify when you’re likely to have a moment of weakness and have a backup plan.

Thank you for my donations received so far, so very much appreciated.

If you would like to make a donation and help me raise money for the British Heart Foundation you can do so by either clicking on the link further down the page to my Just Giving page or pop some pennies in my jar which will be in the studio throughout March.

The Studio Shop is back courtesy of Martha & George and TLC Holistic Therapies with some amazing gifts for Mother’s Day on 22nd March.  Gifts are available to purchase from 6th – 20th March.

Please note there are no classes next Friday 13th March as I’m on a course.  I will send a reminder via What’s App and work you harder today to make up for it!!

Until next time….

xx
