Set Your Goals
Goals are ultimately ‘dreams without a deadline.’
Get clear on exactly what it is you’d like to achieve. The goal should be realistic to you, but be enough of a stretch to feel exciting and make you a little nervous.
For the next 30 days here’s a little exercise for you to do every day. It will only take 10 minutes and will give you amazing clarity and focus if you complete all 30 days.
Pick somewhere you know you won’t get any interruptions. It’s also important that you are not feeling overtired or emotionally stressed, so pick a time when you feel your calmest.
You’ll need a blank piece of paper and a pen.
Start writing down your personal goals in bullet point form. Just let them flow steadily onto the paper without stopping to think ‘Is that actually achievable though?’
There are no rules about how long or short the list list needs to be. When you’ve finished the exercise put the piece of paper into a folder – NOT IN THE BIN.
Then you do the same each day for 30 days, without looking at the previous day’s list. You will find that some of the goals will remain the same, some may change or be left off the list altogether.
Two things to remember:
1. State you goals in the present tense
2. Make you goals as specific as possible.
After 30 days you will clearly know what your goals are and can start to make them happen.
Please feel free to share your goals or if I can help in anyway, just let me know.
Stay safe and well
