Tallow skincare: why I’m using it and what you should know

Over the years, I’ve become more and more drawn to skincare that’s simple, natural, and genuinely effective – without the hype.

So when I came across Fierce Nature and their grass-fed tallow-based products, I was curious.

Now, having used their balm regularly, I can honestly say I’m seeing a noticeable improvement in my skin’s health and resilience.

Tallow has been used for centuries in traditional skincare, and for good reason. It’s incredibly rich in skin-compatible nutrients – vitamins A, D, E and K – all of which help repair, hydrate and protect the skin barrier.

It also contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), known for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

What I love most is that it doesn’t sit on the skin or create that artificial ‘film’ feeling.

It absorbs beautifully and truly nourishes from within.

Fierce Nature keeps things beautifully simple.

No synthetic preservatives, no unnecessary ingredients – just clean, bio-available nourishment for the skin.

That said, while I’m enjoying using tallow in my personal routine, I wouldn’t incorporate it into my facial treatments for clients. Many of the wonderful women I work with are vegetarian or vegan, and tallow wouldn’t align with their lifestyle or values.

For me, respecting individual choices is always part of a holistic and inclusive approach to well-being.

But if you’re not restricted by that and you’re curious about something more ancestral and minimalist?

Tallow might just surprise you.

As always, skincare should be about what works for you.

No trends.

No gimmicks.

Let me know if you’ve tried tallow-based products, or if you’ve got questions about it.

I’m always happy to share my experience.
